Great package with easy transport. The atmosphere in the ground was electric with great seats.
tip: Check your flight tickets as we went in to one airport and out of another.Taxis are expensive in Italy but coaches, trains and the metro are all good.
We decided to book a surprise 21st Birthday present for my son Craig. Having looked at the options we booked the whole weekend package through Football Break. Flights, hotel, Camp Nou tour and football tickets. All the paperwork and information arrived a couple of weeks before the trip. Everything was easy to understand and the weekend arrived and everything went smoothly. We had a great tour of the Camp Nou on the Saturday, a fantastic evening in Barcelona and leisurely Sunday with the game at the Camp Nou Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere was something special and our seats were amazing. My son Craig said it was something he had dreamed of since a little boy. Watching Messi score 2 goals was the icing on the cake. We walked back to our hotel via a lovely Tapas bar Monday we had a leisurely wander around central Barcelona before our flights home. It was the perfect weekend one we will never forget. Thank you so much!
An excellent trip. Did not use the flights in the package as they were at inconvenient times and airports but the hotel was much better than we had imagined, with the breakfast exceeding our expectations. The football tickets were awaiting us on our arrival as arranged. The receptionist we saw most of was helpful beyond the call of duty but all staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is in a good area and within walking distance of the stadium which is important when leaving after the match. It would be impossible to use the Metro at this time! The service we had when phoning your office before departure was also helpful and informative. We enjoyed Madrid and spent Sunday exploring places we had not been on our last trip.
This was my first trip abroad in 17 years so had been a little apprehensive but the organisation (accommodation, flights, match tickets) was excellent. Unfortunately we were a little let down by Easyjet but getting around Milan once we got there was so easy. The Metro is excellent! As for the San Siro, what a magical place to watch football! Great seats, fantastic armosphere and a 5 goal thriller! Just watch out outside the stadium for Aftricans touting wristbands - we certainly were ripped off! We also had time in the city around Duomo and it is all pretty spectacular. So in spite of Easyjet and the weather, my son Jamie and I had a really good time. Watching football at the San Siro is really amazing, so glad we made the trip.
