Absolutely fantastic!! The best sporting event I have ever attended! My son and I had a truly memorable time and I would say to any football fan that a trip to see Real Madrid should be at the top of their to do list.Thank you Football Break for arranging everything.

I would like to say that the whole experience apart from flight home due to poor service from Ryanair was superb. The service from Football break excelled any expectation and I would strongly recommend them to anyone interested in this kind of trip. The seats was better than what I expected. The atmosphere at camp nou was class and we found the people and staff very friendly. We only had one other day to explore Barcelona but the little that we did see was immense. I will be taking my wife here but not for football ..lol All in all a superb experience. A massive thumbs up to Football.co.uk

Use the metro to get back and forth from the ground. Taxis are expensive and the metro is cheap plus it builds the atmosphere for the game

Dear Rebecca, I wanted to thank you for a truly memorable Footballbreak trip. All the arrangements for seeing the Real Madrid match worked like a dream. I had been a bit worried about the courier service of tickets to the hotel which we’d booked through you. But the minute we checked in, our tickets were waiting at the desk. And what tickets! There were 3 price ranges for the Bernabeu stadium and we had selected the higher band which was still very reasonable (£40/ticket). We could not believe it when we saw the seats. In the VIP section, with access to the VIP lounge, and just 6 seats from the front. We could almost reach out and touch the turf. Plus Ronaldo positioned himself right in front of our seats – when he wasn’t running back that is, to cover for defensive mistakes! What a great package. My thanks to you and all the team. I booked this package to Barcelona for my partner's 30th birthday. The booking process is so easy and straightforward and the level of customer service from the footballbreak team is fantastic - the booking confirmation includes useful information and the team are extremely efficient in responding to any queries via email. We stayed at hotel U232 which was fantastic - a little out of the city centre but easily accessible via the metro, as was the stadium. The atmosphere at the stadium was amazing. The entire trip exceeded expectations and I would definitely book with Footballbreak again.

Tip - the metro is the most efficient and cost effective way of getting around the city and to and from the airport. It is so simple to use.

My brother and I have long dreamed of a trip to Barcelona, with the main, but not sole reason being a chance to watch a game at the Nou Camp. When I set about booking such a trip, the ease of the complete package was hugely appealing, as it meant someone else did all the work of identifying flights, hotels, and securing the tickets. All we had to do was enjoy it. The service was excellent. As we received the tickets by email, we didn't meet any representatives of Football Breaks, but all the information and documentation was sent well ahead of time, so there was no fuss or panic. Barcelona is a wonderful city. Although the match was the centrepiece of the experience, the setting made it extra-special. We could only go on certain dates, which determined the match we went to. It wasn't the most glamorous of opponents, although Alaves actually won, so the ground wasn't as full and the atmosphere not as intense as might otherwise have been the case. Also, it turned out to be the game before a Champions' League match, so Suarez, Messi, and Iniesta were all on the bench, although all three did come on. If we went again, we'd maybe try for a different context.

The only thing we found tricky was the travel to and from the game. We got the Metro from the centre of town. No problem with frequency of trains, but they were jam-packed, especially on the way back. There are plenty of bars and cafes near the ground. Try and get there early, and go for a drink locally after the game, to let the crowds disperse.
