Total package excelled expectations, slight problem with triple room at hotel, but after one quick telephone call to the emergency number supplied all sorted within five minutes. Would recommend Football breaks over any other company and much easier than booking everything oneself.
Football Break were very helpful and efficient. They responded to emails and phone calls promptly and the match tickets were safely at the hotel. The seats were great - right by the pitch. My only warning to other users relates to Spanish games - the (fairly regular) last minute switch of days in our Barcelona game was (unusually) to a Friday (!!), which threw our plans and costs into disarray. Nothing to do with FootballBreak at all, and they did their best to sort it out.
Wonderful wonderful city. Nou Camp - 100,000 spectators left the grounding 10 minutes - remarkable. However, on departure Les Corts metro had huge queues. Not sure the best Plan B, but worth having one.
Me and my friend went to see Real Madrid vs Juventus. The total package was fine and I recieved all the information that I though was neccesary. Only one thing which was a problem was that I got given a double bed room when I did book a 2 single beds. Luckily the hotel was able to switch rooms. The atmosphere was amazing, the best stadium I have ever been too. Madrid is a very beautiful city with very good food.
Buy a metro pass! It cost me 18 euro's for 3 days. Go to the airport T1, T2, T3 metro station and purchase it. Also visit an information centre to pick up a street map. Visit the Plaza Mayor, the paella their was fantastic! I recommend staying for 2 nights just to experience most of Madrid.
This is my second booking with FootballBreak. Having had a successful first trip to Barcelona, I did not hesitate to use the company again for our trip to Munich. Again, I was very happy with the total package and Munich surpassed all expectations. Fantastic atmosphere and everything is so well run!
I would recommend visting the stadium's museum, and taking a stadium tour in addition to watching a game. Also, if you stay and extra day, do take a trip to Bayern Munich's training ground. If they play on Saturday, you can watch them train on Monday (at 11am). We saw all of the 1st team train, and Pepe Guardiola signed my son's shirt - unbeatable experience! To make it a complete lads holiday - a trip to the BMW museum is certainly worth taking.
Fear not ! This internet based company delivers. It was with some trepidation I booked tickets for El Classico as you pay for the package/flights/tickets upfront and the tickets are delivered to your hotel the night before the match. The booking process is straightforward and clever givng you the opportunity to match a hotel according to your budget/requirements, Rebecca was extremely helpful on telephone and by email contact, I received email updates, the hotel voucher arrived a week before as promised and the tickets were delivered to the hotel the night before the match as promised. Of course you accept you pay more than face value, but FootballBreak.co.uk deliver. I would not hesitate to use the company again. We had a great time.
Make sure you have arranged your transport back to the city centre after the match. Do not rely on flagging down a taxi!
