Me and my friend went to see Real Madrid vs Juventus. The total package was fine and I recieved all the information that I though was neccesary. Only one thing which was a problem was that I got given a double bed room when I did book a 2 single beds. Luckily the hotel was able to switch rooms. The atmosphere was amazing, the best stadium I have ever been too. Madrid is a very beautiful city with very good food.
Buy a metro pass! It cost me 18 euro's for 3 days. Go to the airport T1, T2, T3 metro station and purchase it. Also visit an information centre to pick up a street map. Visit the Plaza Mayor, the paella their was fantastic! I recommend staying for 2 nights just to experience most of Madrid.
The hotel was good, the flights were all on time and didn't have any issues. The stadium & match atmosphere was fantastic, best I have ever experienced. The service was very good from football breaks & would definitely use the again.
Take time to look at the tube, it's a great way to easily gets around. La rambla at night is just amazing.
Hotel staff friendly and could speak fairly good English. Hotel itself was quite noisy and room smelt of cigarette smoke. Great seats at the football and would would recommend clients to pay for the upgrade to better seats. Madrid was great and interesting for a few day visit,
Upgrade to better seats and do the stadium tour.
We went, as a family to see Real Madrid v Seville, and have a short city break in Madrid. The whole package was excellent, we were able to amend it to suite our wants. We stayed for 3 nights, changed our seats in the stadium, flight times and we were able to choose a hotel in Madrid’s old town. When we needed to speak to the representatives from FootballBreak they were friendly and very helpful. The match tickets were waiting for us when we checked into our hotel, and even though the match kicked off late (10pm local time) it was a great spectacle (7 - 3 to Madrid).
As we chose a hotel in the centre of the old town of Madrid and used taxis to and from the stadium. Whilst it was busy after the game, there were plenty of taxis (we only had to wait a couple of minutes) and they are not an unreasonable price. We also used the local taxis to and from the airport, again with no issues and very speedy. Madrid is a beautiful city and, for a capital city, the cost of eating and drinking out isn’t unreasonable.
Fear not ! This internet based company delivers. It was with some trepidation I booked tickets for El Classico as you pay for the package/flights/tickets upfront and the tickets are delivered to your hotel the night before the match. The booking process is straightforward and clever givng you the opportunity to match a hotel according to your budget/requirements, Rebecca was extremely helpful on telephone and by email contact, I received email updates, the hotel voucher arrived a week before as promised and the tickets were delivered to the hotel the night before the match as promised. Of course you accept you pay more than face value, but FootballBreak.co.uk deliver. I would not hesitate to use the company again. We had a great time.
Make sure you have arranged your transport back to the city centre after the match. Do not rely on flagging down a taxi!
