The city was beautiful, lots of great places to see, places to eat and go shopping. We were nice and close to the stadium in our hotel (walking distance) and were a short metro ride from the city centre. The staff at our hotel were also friendly and helpful.
Booking it as a package makes things a lot easier!
Absolutely loved Barcelona. Hope to go again soon. Really easy to get around the city on the tubes and buses. I amended my booking with no issue great service received by the football break team!
If you are staying for a few days book a hotel more city in the city centre and use the tune to Les Courts as its so easy. Makes it simple for sightseeing in the city that way!
Overall the trip went really well. The hotel was great, 3 days was the right amount of time to see the city and all the information given by football break.co.uk was usefull and efficient.
Yes, try to get information on the bus routes before you go as they are more difficult to navigate than the Metro!
An excellent, hassle-free way to attend El Clasico. No-nonsense, efficient flights with Easyjet, a fine hotel in the centre of Madrid and superb category 1 match tickets in a magnificent stadium. Fantastic atmosphere and an incredible match. A vibrant city which will continue to fascinate in repeated visits.
Transfer from airport to hotel via the city Metro is easy. Buy a multi-day travel pass. Our hotel across the street from the Opera Metro station was ideal. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, with the Plaza Mayor and narrow streets of the atmospheric old town minutes away.
We booked Barcelona for 3 nights to see Barcelona vs Bate in the champions league, I was abit spectical about booking at first because it seems so cheap and too good to be true but I can honestly say I'm so happy I did, we had everything emailed over to us including our flight, hotel and match tickets all we had to do was print them out, the flights were spot on, we also booked a transfer from the airport to our hotel through A2B transfers which Footballbreak sent us a link for. When we arrived our transfer was waiting and took us to the hotel which was really quick and them when we arrived to Sunotel Aston we where checked in quickly by the very friendly receptionist. On match day we spend the day sight seeing around La Rambles and the Port, this cost about €9 euro to get too from the hotel, then about 2 hours before kick off got a Taxi to Nou Camp, this cost about €10 from La Rambles, the atmosphere around the ground was unreal and they where handing out free Barcelona flags to anyone which made us feel more apart of it, our seats in the stadium where excellent and where very easy to find, the game itself was brilliant and Barcelona won 3-0. Me & my girlfriend had the most amazing time in this beautiful city and will most definitely be booking again with FootballBreak.com.
Go to La Rambles on match day then get a cab to Nou Camp, brilliant day and only €10 for the cab.
