amazing pack, recommend upgrading seat, messi is god,no other atmosphere like it, everyone talks, flags wave, Mexican waves and lots of singing. only issue need longer to appreciate barca, but open top buses are a must.

Try to arrive in Barcelona early as the metro is amazing and cheap, will save you pounds, go on the free walking tours , you will see a lot of the hidden Barcelona, only use taxis booked by hotels in Barcelona, do not use random taxies as the price will quadruple, for transfers use holiday taxis.com they're amazing and unbelievably friendly and nice.

My boyfriend is Spanish and an avid Real Madrid fan so this trip to see Real Madrid was the perfect birthday present. I loved the convenience of having the whole package booked and organised. Everything ran smoothly. Our tickets were at the hotel reception when we arrived. We did panic a little at first because the seat numbers were 25 and 27 so we thought we weren't sat together. But it turns out it's just the way Madrid number their seats. Odd numbers are sat together and even numbers are sat together. I originally booked the middle category of seats, but a few weeks after booking I decided I wanted to upgrade them and get the full experience. Customer services were extremely helpful and upgraded straight away for much less than I expected. Then to top it off, a few weeks before our trip we received an email to tell us we had been given VIP tickets! It did not disappoint. We got unlimited food and drink for pre-match, half time and post-match. Our seats were excellent and so close to the pitch. Ronaldo celebrated right in front of us! Overall I would highly recommend the whole experience. My boyfriend said it was a dream come true, and a month on he is still over the moon about it. Thank you football break!

If watching Real Madrid, allow time on another day to do the full stadium tour. Fantastic experience.
