Returned last Monday from our Barcelona football match which was a treat also for our 17yr old Grandson. We had the most fantastic time and everything went without problems. We worried as airport were staging a 24hr strike and we didnt know what to expect. Phoned your emergency office the day before and lady was very helpful and was going to be in contact if the strike was on. Thankfully the Spanish Civil Guard took over airport and checked passports. All was well. We also contacted Norwegian airways and they were very helpful too. Thank you for help to make a dream come true for Grandson.

I had read beforehand of problems with pickpockets etc and was rather worried, but pleased to say everyone was very friendly and helpful. We were told there would be plenty of taxis after the match at stadium and we couldnt book in advance from hotel. We found all cabs were already taken and so walked from stadium to Onix Fera Hotel by Arenas which took 1hr.15mins. It was like a party it is the main road and hundreds of other families were doing same. No problems at all.Fantastic city and we will return.

Barcelona was a fantastic city which we both really enjoyed.

Been to Barcelona before and organised the trip myself which was stressful with tickets etc. Booking with football break took away all the stress and made it a fantastic experience.

Take plenty of cash.

Milan is a great city with a brilliant stadium that is the Giuseppe Meazza / San Siro. Easy and affordable to get around as well.

Wasn't too keen on taking my passport with me to the game but DO take it with you for ID purposes.
