16 of us traveled to Madrid for the most recent Atlético Madrid - Real Madrid derby, it was a fantastic experience. The city and hotel were good, flight was average (booked separately) but the game and atmosphere were unbelievable! It was the best 0-0 I have ever seen, the stands of the Wanda Metropolitano were literally shaking at one point. If only FootballBreak did a buy goals option we'd have been laughing. With that said I cannot fault the service from FootballBreak and especially Rebecca who was very prompt with her replies and professional throughout. I will be using them again no doubt and will be happy to recommend to anybody.
If Carlsberg built stadiums they would build one like the Bernabeu second to none and I've been to lot !!
Everything was brilliant the hotel was very nice and close to the stadium. The service from football break was amazing and the whole experience of the trip was excellent!! The atmosphere in the stadium was insane!! Brilliant game!
There isn’t many restaurants ‘close’ by so you would have to get a taxi or bus to the centre of milan but there is a brilliant little pizza takeaway around the corner
amazing trip. this package really good, loves Madrid especially Plaza Mayor
We hadnt heard about Football breaks and were a little dubious at first as the price was very competitive. Firstly the website was very easy to use with the cost clearly shown at each section and the options available to us. Football breaks (Rebecca) were very efficient in arranging new flights after Monarch ceased business, this was hassle free and was at no extra cost. We saw a great game - it was a buzzing atmosphere. Our hotel (Principle Pio) was excellent and in a great position to the Palace and other sites as well as close to the Metro. Madrid is an excellent place to visit - a thoroughly enjoyable trip arranged wonderfully by Football breaks.
- Do the Segway tour its great fun!
- Dont rush out of the stadium - take in the view a little while so the queue to the Metro goes down
