Experiences from our customers
Many football fans have already booked there trip with us and enjoyed their football weekend in cities like Barcelona, Milan or Madrid. We put a few customer reviews online to give you an impression of our trips (more reviews to follow soon).
I was very pleased with our trip to Barcelona, everything was very well organised. No problems checking in at the airport, the hotel was well situated within the City, giving good access to the local sights and attractions and within a good distance of Camp Neu. Extremely pleased with our match tickets - we had great seats and it was a great experience to be in the Stadium and see FC Barca win 4-2!! I would definitely book again with FootballBreak, it was much easier booking as a package rather than trying to organise everything separately and more cost effective too. Staff at FootballBreak were very helpful. Barcelona is a lovely city and we hope to return soon.
Travel tip: The metro is an excellent way of getting around the city - we bought a 3-day travel pass at the airport which allows you unlimited travel on the train/metro and bus around Barcelona - well worth the money and avoids the hassle of purchasing tickets each time you need to travel.
Mrs. N. Ball from West Midlands about her trip to FC Barcelona - Real Betis. (January 2012)
I was very happy on the information i was sent. It was the first time i have been to Barcelona, and i was travelling with a young child so i was worried about everything going ok. The information provided by yourselves was excellent, and it was very easy for me to "just get on and enjoy the trip". The stadium and match experience is amazing, I have already told fellow football supporters that The Nou Camp, Barcelona is "one of the 10 things you have to do before you die"... I am already planning on returning with friends, and will definatley be booking the trip with Footballbreak.co.uk.
Travel tip: The one suggestion I would make is for anyone attending a late kick off like myself. The Metro rail finished 12 midnight, and we had only made it halfway back to the hotel. We had to get a taxi the rest of the way back, and although the taxi driver was helpful, it was very difficult to tell him where we was staying. If i had known the trains were going to stop at midnight I would have taken a hotel business card with me to the game to help me get back to the hotel... Not a critisism on the company, I was more annoyed with myself for not checking.
Mr. J. Bottomley from Essex about his trip to FC Barcelona - Real Betis (January 2012)
The package as a whole was very reasonably priced, efficiently dealt with and organized very well. The atmosphere in the stadium was electric and the seats were very good. I have no complaints whatsoever about the package or footballbreak.co.uk
Travel tip: Ask the people around for advice, they are very friendly and quick to help you if they can.

Adam Walker & Dominic Crossley at Real Madrid
The whole weekend break away was very good and very easy to book. I went to watch Real Madrid and the hotel we stayed at was in an ideal location for this with local Metro stations being nearby so I could experience the city of madrid to. Transfers was arranged, the flights was good the hotel was good and the seats were amazing. All in all a great experience and something that I am seriosuly considering in th future (Milan nex)
Travel tip: If yuo go away to watch a game, Make sure you do the tour of the stadium to. Really good value for money
Mr. A. Walker from Manchester about his trip to Real Madrid - Granada. (January 2012)

Father and son Krumm in Camp Nou
"I wanted to see a football game with my son aged 8 at large foreign club. After searching on Google I found the website FootballBreak.co.uk. Finding the trip that we wanted, which was between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid was quick and easy. The Travel Adviser was friendly and thorough. The details that we received were clear and straight forward. The journey was fine and the hotel good with very friendly staff at reception. The room was luxurious, well appointed and had a sea view. The Match itself was fantastic with nearly 100,000 fans in attendance, a great atmosphere, affordable souvenirs and friendly Spaniards. The final score was 1-0 to FC Barcelona which meant a big party in downtown Barcelona. The following day we took a tour of the city and a trip to Tibodabo amusement park which has mountain views over the Barcelona. In one work I would describe our trip as Great! It was a wonderful father-son weekend that will not be forgotten."

"I wanted to take my hubby to watch Barca play at home and Footballbreak.co.uk was one of three sites recommended to me. After reviewing all three web sites, theirs was the most easiest to use and understand and I am so glad I choose them to do all the booking. Nothing was too much, they always responded quickly. Rebecca had my best interest at heart and found the most suitable hotel for us, including breakfast. As promised the tickets were waiting for us upon arrival at check in. I had upgraded the tickets to tier 2 to ensure a great view for this special birthday occasion and we couldn't believe it when we had the the first 2 seats on the front row of the tier, we could see everything WOW.
It rained but we didn't care as Barca beat Athletico Madrid 5-0 with a Messi hatrick..it was an amazing night.
We stayed at the Senator hotel which is just up the road from the stadium. It has an indoor and outdoor pool and a spa. This worked perfectly as we could get into the centre of Barcelona in 20 mins from the Metro which was a 5 min walk from the Hotel. This meant we had the best of both worlds as we had 2 more days to enjoy the sites. Also an added bonus was that one of the tour bus routes went to the Camp Nou so we could jump on it see the sites and get a lift into town and back again. The hotel is also only 10 min taxi ride from the airport however we caught he mainline train back as it worked out 20 euros cheaper as the metro is so cheap.
I would recommend this company to everyone. They have so much experience and answered all my queries I had and more. They exceeded my expectations and that is what service is all about."
Mrs. Kew from Watford about his trip to Barcelona - Atletico Madrid (September 2011)

Father and son Brown from West Yorkshire about their trip to AC Milan - Bari (March 2011).
"Barcelona is without doubt one of my all time favourite cities, oozing culture amazing food fun and the perfect mix of city life by the sea. The service and assistance from Rebecca was excellent helpful and prompt at all times. The hotel was as described clean and well run and any improvements would be minor. Ie another coffee machine at breakfast and improved wi fi coverage throughout the hotel. Some detailed directions of how to locate hotel would have been helpful as it was rather difficult to find from the metro station. The tickets for the game at camp nou were excellent and well worth the reasonable upgrade cost, with seats behind goal at ground level and a great crowd. We really loved our trip and would recommend your company. Thanks! Katherine Birnie-Bremner"

I would have no hesitation in recommending your website to people who want to experience such an occasion and in fact have done so to a couple of friends already, hopefully you might pick up some business from them in the future.
I would have no hesitation in using your services when i book another Football Break"

Mr de Roos and friends near Camp Nou in Barcelona
"My friends and I had been discussing taking a football trip for years before finally taking the plunge and booking a weekend away with FootballBreak.co.uk to see FC Barcelona v Valencia. Everything was perfect and on arrival at the hotel found that our match tickets had already been delivered. We were allocated great seats in Camp Nou Stadium which was very impressive. The Aranea Hotel was good and located near the Sagrada Familia where the hop on ? hop off bus stops. The conditions were perfect with great weather and a fantastic match. There were around 90,000 supporters in the stadium (though within five minutes of the final whistle it was empty)."

"I would just like to thank you for your impeccable customer service that you have shown despite all of the problems that my group and I faced when trying to get to Milan first time round. Without your help and continued patience with all my questions we were able to get out to Milan second time round and it was fantastic! The San Siro seats were fantastic and the hotel was brilliant too.
My group and I are definitely going to do more European adventures in the future and we will definitely be going with Football Break again due to their fantastic customer service and reliability!"
